We reach & serve persons affected with Spine Related ailments, medically and socially to help them lead better lives.
Spine Wellness Care Foundation (SWCF) is a charitable Non-Governmental Organization established for improving the wellness of people with spinal ailments in India. It offers spine wellness and related services either directly through its own projects or in partnership with Government and local NGOs.
Our main objective is to provide medical, rehabilitation, vocational, recreational and social support for persons affected with spine and related ailments.
The objectives of the Trust are:
1) To provide healthcare assistance/facility to persons suffering from ailments/disease including but not limited to spinal cord ailment /injuries.
2) To help spinal cord injured persons in their physical, psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation as well as participation and inclusion into the Society.
3) To help develop and improve methods of detection and comprehensive management of all kinds of spinal and other ailments.
4) To facilitate delivery of spine care services at grass root level care through community based rehabilitation programs.
5) To encourage and organize sports, recreational / leisure activities for persons with disabilities with spine injuries and others.
6) To advocate inclusive society for persons with disabilities.
7) To promote prevention of spinal cord injuries and other spinal disorders.
8) To create awareness amongst health professionals, service providers, policy makers, consumers and society about prevention and management of various spinal disorders.
9) To promote education / information dissemination amongst health professionals about management of spinal ailments.
10) To promote, develop and stimulate the development of basic and clinical research principally for spinal cord injuries and other allied specialties and for all other specialties.
11) To receive and maintain donations, funds,grants, grants – in – aid, loan, Aid, investment and to administer them in the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the trust.
12) To acquire / purchase, receive or hire properties for the trust.
13) To establish and run Hospitals,Nursing Homes,Healthcare Education institutions like- Medical Collage/s ,Nursing & Paramedicals Education and Training Centers and other Training Center for Healthcare Professionals.
14) To undertake such activities from time to time as shall be deemed necessary by the trustees.
